"Impeccable" - Scherzo 2024
I believe in true collaboration and inspiration across art forms. Studying Da Vinci’s Sfumato technique, for example, deeply influenced the way I approach pedaling for the romantic composers. I have great admiration for the minds of past eras—those who shaped Western culture so profoundly that they became the very foundation of our societies. Studying their work through their own words is truly mind-blowing to me.
The same applies to gastronomy. The way a great chef balances flavors and textures, combined with thoughtful plating design, influences how I think about music. Layering melody, bass, and accompaniment to support each other mirrors how a chef crafts a dish—transforming it into an expression of their vision on a plate.
My vision is to unite art forms and create bespoke concert experiences. When different disciplines collaborate, they leave a lasting impression. Balance and contrast are essential—whether pairing food with music or aligning aesthetic concepts with specific compositions, these elements transport audiences into an unfamiliar yet captivating realm.
